The Spiritualist- An insight into the real mystic.

The spiritual world is indeed a world that is interspersed with many elusive and delusive entities, both at the same time. Through the ages, mystics have associated strange supernatural powers with the spiritual world. The spiritual path is one which literally leads the man through all the experiences of life; it’s a way on which man experiences and acquires all that there is to acquire only to renounce it all in the end and walk into the sunset, with his head held high. There is a lot of spiritual wealth to be found interspersed on the path. The man, who walks this path for long under the able guidance of a realized master, knows this wealth in its truest nature; he knows it in its truest form.

So to answer the burning question that crops incessantly to the mind of both the cynic and the seeker alike, it would only suffice to say, that YES; there indeed is a lot of power to be gained on the spiritual path. Power in its varied forms is manifested to the seeker as he unfolds each chapter of the saga that represents the spiritual journey of his life. Power has a lot of meanings to it, but simply put, it would suffice to say that

“The man on whose heart, no power bears dominion; is a man of endless power.”

The spiritual path is only instrumental in creating such a person out of any individual that chooses to walk on it. The spiritual journey is an intricate one and the roads that each and every person takes vary according to his own constitution. Thus it’s a path that is constantly changing and reinventing itself with every passing moment. There are a lot of veiled truths pertaining to true spirituality. The world is unaware of these facts, but it would be enough to state that these are things to be experienced and not to be expressed.

So we finally come to the point of the matter. Experience; it is the most important attribute for any seeker that treads the spiritual path. The world is full of pseudo-intellectuals who indeed claim to be true spiritualists. They engage in what can only be termed as intellectual brain-farting; indulging in debates and discussions that are utterly and completely useless. Philosophy is such a potent weapon that it can be used to either cause; to inspire or to conspire. Thus do many people philosophize on the intricacies of the spiritual path by reading through literature produced by great saints and philosophers. They incessantly quote them at each step of the way, only to bring the listener to the final step of the utterly pointless journey that is their dissertation. In that step, they try to unequivocally prove that they themselves indeed are masters of the universe. The world is interspersed with such souls…

On the other hand there are those who simply work in silence. Their realization and the depth of their enlightenment are shrouded by their austerity and their acute sense of purpose that is vested in selfless benevolence. Vanity is not an issue for such individuals. These realized souls operate in silence, as they change the course of history through their acts that inspire and motivate people to lead their lives in much the same way. These are true spiritualists; who are indeed bereft of even a shred of vain self-indulgence; they are born and bred for a divine purpose; they are called mystics, for the ways in which they fulfill their purpose are truly mystical. They are wise beyond the reckoning of mere men and possess knowledge far beyond the scope of human intellect. They are intuitively endowed with illumining light of self-realization; through which they enlighten the world. They have experienced all that there is to this world, and thus they know and realize every shred of existence, for it is illumined through the power of their enlightened souls.

These are the masters that tread this earth; the emissaries of God that salvage man’s losing cause in the bid for existence; the spiritual masters, who are truly in complete equilibrium with nature; who are one with God.

These are the true spiritualists…they are men of endless power that have within themselves not a shred of self-centered desire; great men of wisdom, that have but one motive for existence; that of selfless benevolence…a rare breed of men indeed!
